Not new in the slightest, this is unusual to me because I've seen it only a couple times and the only other time was disembowelment related. Otherwise tits are fine, all of the dick except one specific part is fine, and vag is forbidden usually unless they too block specific parts. Gore on the other hand is almost always uncensored no matter how horrific it is. It looks like it's by the artist's own hand to self-censor when it wouldn't be a problem otherwise. There's plenty of other Japanese artworks that don't do this so it is conflicting.
