Well the first thing that comes to mind is Blood School, this game is an interesting mix of action, puzzle solving sometimes even under a timer and adventure elements like finding a key etc it never gets you bored its only drawback are the limitations of the RPGmaker engine otherwise you have the perfect game.And let's not forget it has plenty of guro that includes a lot of fetishes

Demonophobia is also a solid adventure game with a lot of puzzle elements that is said to even give you a genuine sense of fear

The third would be GAME OVER is not really that rewarding and challenging but is made in the same style and it makes up with a cute heronine
