For outpost go to your inventory and go to key items, the last option there should say something like "Return to base" or something.

It takes 2 hours to do in the first areas, so make sure you do it at or before 21:00 or you will lose all the stuff you looted.

The key item page also lets you camp and restore energy and check time, so its all very useful stuff.
