    Plus there's the sound element. Every individual beep, tick, or clack means she's that much closer to death. I don't think you'd get that with the consistently fizzing fuse.

Several girls in a row with explosives tied to them, each bomb with just enough power that it'll blow her to bits but leave the others untouched, tie all the fuses together, then light one and watch. You get this long chain of small, personal explosions, with the victims on the far end getting to see exactly what's going to happen to them.     How much mobility should the victim have? Complete immobility, some freedom to squirm and struggle, enough to attempt an escape?

    I remember once seeing a comic of a girl trapped in a room with an enclosed bomb. The door was locked tight, but she wasn't restrained in any way. Was free to run back and forth in panic, pound on the door, flail in panic, collapse in despair, etc, all the way up until her death. Wish I could see it again, though I'm pretty sure I'm making a lot of it up.

    These are poorly redrawn versions of work by an artist going by the pseudonym "teQteQ" aka "TekuTeku" aka "tQtQ" aka "てくてく".

    teQteQ posted animated versions of these at one point. I'm not sure if the originals are still available. He's changed pseudonyms and his art has gone offline and online a few times.

    You might be able to find them within the compiled listings on Pixiv under his Pixiv ID 2532867 under which he posted his guro work. teQteQ's non-guro work is posted under Pixiv ID 1858104.
