I think it's convention to post your builds in threads like this, so:

Sexuality: Free Love (-2) - Self explanatory IMO
Social and Political Structure: Pretty Alright (-1) - Mostly because I find the idea of anything promising perfection intrinsically suspicious
Justification: Culture (Free) - The world I'm about the sketch out has absolutely no need to do anything, and "Abrupt and Unknown" sounds like an alien invasion rather then a strange (but ultimately good) world

In this world, I think, people view the idea of eating something that wasn't a person as fundamentally weird and disturbing, kind of like fucking something that's not a person. If your food doesn't feel something about being eaten, isn't that missing half the point of eating it? And if it was alive but non-sapient, that's even worse! You have no idea what it was feeling and whether it wanted this or not. (Regeneration from raw atoms, or being cloned, or drinking water, or solar-powered machinery are not considered "eating" in the relevant sense).

Accordingly demand is
Demand: Very High (-2, -30 pop)

To make up for it we have:
Cloning (-4, +15 pop)
Regeneration (-3, +10 pop)
Lax Contraception (-1, +6 pop)

(I find it strange that Advanced Medicine -> Regeneration -> Cloning isn't an upgrade tree where you can only pick one. I'm going to assume here that Cloning and Regeneration also grant the general utility benefits of Advanced Medicine re: disease and aging)

Bits: The Female (-2)
Why: Sexism (Positive) and They Just Taste Better
Ages: Teens+Adults, mostly - Actual children straddle the line between people and animals. They're certainly more communicative then e.g. a cow, but are they really ready for something as intense as being eaten? Still, if they're insistent enough they'll be able to talk someone into eating them, it just has a higher burden of proof. A normal person will eat a teen and assume it was handled reasonably without investigating further, they probably wouldn't eat a child they didn't know personally. (There are no old people due to the state of medical technology)
Why: Morality - Children usually aren't ready for this kind of thing!
Outlook: Excited (-1) - This is a good world, thank you very much, but not one where people are single mindedly obsessed with being eaten. They should do other stuff too!

Ingredients (-3) - Thanks to the miracles of modern technology, we can replace all foodstuffs with ethically sourced foods!

Shapeshifter (-3) - I think this gets everything I would want from this section? I already gave all the good stuff to the whole world, and even this is arguably redundant with the cloning tech
Silver Spoon (-1) - Well, okay, not quite *everything*
Compelling Aura (-2) - Also, my contractually-obliged x-risk reduction hack. "You're going to use it to make the world's best chefs bring out the absolute best in your meat, right?" no I'm going to use it to make people care about things that might end the world. Like... the premise of this CYOA, actually. (Surely the *best* chefs would do good things with your meat regardless?)

I'm now at -5 points, so
Delicious Looking (+2) - I would love to go around knowing people were obsessed with my body (in a good way)
Menu Special (+2) - No change, since I would shapeshift female much of the time anyway
Meat Mandate (monthly) (+1) - Not too much of a time obligation


Given a slightly more pessimistic interpretation of the rules where Regeneration does not subsume Advanced Medicine, I would also take:

usually, other people set up specialized rooms for each other based around some kind of theme. they'd describe how each box was set up, and how the experience is supposed to play out. maybe that's more for the updated version, since it replaces the "you" option with one that asks you to ask someone else to design one for you.
