so is this like art for people who had abusive parents and internalized their parents' resentment, and seeing these pitiful little creatures tortured while they cry out for sympathy no one's offering is a kind of catharsis or something? like "when i was a vulnerable, dependent child crying out for sympathy it just got me more abuse, so i learned to hate that pitiful, vulnerable dependence"?

“today on How It's Made. Jissou based fabrics and fibers.”
The screen shows a variety of house hold products, A T shirt,a silky looking dress, also some toilet paper and paper towels.
“As a Jissou grows, so do their tiny cloths. To take advantage of this producion of thread, Jissou are specially prepped for mass production.
“Today, a lot of fabrics are made syntheticly, but jissou fabrics are natural,or as natural as a bio engineered pet can get”
The scene opens in a warehouse, before the camara is a line of harvesting machines.
“This is where the magic happeneds, hundreds of Jissou are hooked up to these machines”
The camera zooms into one such machine.
“Lets see how they get in there.”
The scene changes to a different room. This one looks like a butchers slaughter house.
“First, live Jissou are brought in from mass Jissou breeders.
Each one is pre inspected at the breeders, looking for the type the factory ordered.”
“In this case, the factory needs full sized jissou. So that they are unlikely to grow out of the gathering frame they are permately hooked into.”
“Before they leave the breeders they given a special drug that cleans out a Jissous colon, then they are shipped without food to prevent defecation during transport”
As the narration goes, the scene shows workers gathering large wooden crates and bringing them into the butchering room
“Each case contains three large Jissou.”
A worker takes a crowbar and swiftly opens a crate for the camera.
The Jissou wipe their eyes as a flood light is finally let inside the crate.
“Hello mister man!” saids a friendly one
“My eyes hurt! Tenchi…” complains another
“Where are we?” saids the last one, trying to see out of the slats of the box, even though the top was removed.
“From here they start the process of making a Jissou into a thread producing machine.”
A worker grabs a Jissou from the box.”Yay! Mister man picked me!” The jissou tries to hug the worker.
Clearly used to this the worker can be seen wearing earbuds.
“First the Jissou is stripped and cleaned.”
The first thing to go was the Jissous dress and tiny panties. “No im naked! Why take cloths mister man!” screeches the Jissou.
“The Jissous cloths will be recycled into low quality fibers, like toilet paper or paper towels.”
“Next the Jissou is cleaned with a few blasts of hot water, and detergent. It is important to prep the skin for fitting and cutting later on.”
This Jissou enjoys the water bath.”I'm clean now tenchi!” it shouts.
“Next comes the trimming.. In order to be safely mounted onto the gathering frame, Jissou cannot have limbs, as they could accidently free themselves from the mount and cause injury with to much wiggling.”
Putting the cleaned and still wet Jissou onto a cutting board, it has one last thing to say.”Now wh…”
Before it even finished the sentence ,a worker, also with earbuds, swiftly chops off each arm and leg with a cleaver.
The Jissou stares into space for a moment before the pain hits its tiny little brain .”Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!” it screamed
The scream is short and quickly cut away from.”Next the worker cauterizes the limbs and sends the Jissou down the line for the next step.”
This illicits more screams from the Jissou
“The next station does a special kind of surgery. Here, the Jissou is set face down on an operating tray.” “The worker then starts to cut out a square of skin out of the Jissous back.”
“This surgery is much more delicate then cutting off limbs.”
The camera watches as the worker uses a surgeons knife to cut into the Jissou. Starting just under the arm pit.
“The worker cuts out the sides, getting as wide an area as possible out of the jissous tiny frame.”
The surgery is put on full view. What's left is a large flat area, mostly the jissous back and the cut out sides pulled out to make it bigger.
“The worker carefully skips over any veins while cutting into the muscle, making the Jissou unable to twist its spine in anyway.”
“Next comes the mounting.”
The worker flips the jissou back over, tears staining its face.”It hurts refu!” it screamed up at the camera.
The camera shows a metal rectangular frame as a worker sets the limbless Jissou inside, its flayed out skin is stretched out and stapled to the ends and corners of the frame.
The Jissou reacts to every tug and pull as its skin is stretched.”Ow, no, stop, refu! No more hurting…” it sobs.
Fully set in its frame the worker holds it up for the camera. The Jissou takes a deep breath and wails, hoping this nightmare will stop.
And it does, for a commercial break.

“Now this Jissou is ready for harvesting.”
“Nooooo, tenchi….” it continues to sob.
“This big room contains all the jissou making this sort of thread.”
“The worker bolts the Jissou in front of the thread gatherer and attaches a small electrified clip to the Jissou mounting frame.”
As a worker turns on the charge,the camera zooms in close to the jissous bare skin.
“Here you can see the electricity stimulating the Jissous skin to produce these tiny theads”
You can see these tiny green threads coming off the jissous back.
“A worker gather these loose threads and readys an empty bobbin. Once pulled through the machine it starts to gently spin, slowly pulling on the fibers on the Jissous back.
“Back tingles tenchi. It itches mister man!” yells the Jissou, trying to wiggle its nonexsistent legs and arms.
This will be the last thing the Jissou will every say.
“Where not done yet, as one worker makes sure the theading machine is working, another prepares for the Jissous new life as a thread producing bio factory.”
“A worker grabs a tube and feeding bag, they find a way to make the jissou open their mouths in order to stuff their new feeding tubes down their throats.”
The worker didn't need to do much as the newly mounted jissou is still wailing about it's new position in life.
“This keeps the jissou feed for the rest of its life span. Nutrition is important because it can change the consistency of the final product.”
“The tube goes in,” The Jissou gags.”and the worker massages the Jissous throat, making sure they don't accidently put the tube into the jissous lungs.”
“Once the stomach as been reached, the tube is attached to the bag and the feeding begins.”
The Jissou tears up as the food paste is slowly pushed into its stomach.
The camera zoomes out and shows dozens and dozens of stations where similarly treated jissou are also being harvested.
“All this thread will be used in products such as clothing, construction material, and house hold cleaning products.
“But lets say you want a ball gown or suit for formal occasion. This factory also produces a pure white thread that functions just like natural silk.”
The camera shows off all the uses for this new better silk thread, suits and dresses of every color.
“This thread starts off with wormling Jissou, also known as maggots.”
“A worker carefully opens this crate marked 'fragile', inside are a dozen wormling Jissou.”
Chattering maggot chans fill the cameras microphone, mostly consistencing of 'refus' and 'hungry'
“One at a time a worker will inspect each wormling and will put it in its new, temporary home.”
“only seven wormlings per home. They seem small now, but soon they will get much bigger.”
You see workers sorting maggots.”These wormlings will be used to make one gigantic roll of silk fabric. Hundreds are used to just to make a single dress.”
“For this first phase the wormlings are fed nothing but carbohydrates, All these carbs will fatten the worms but will not let him transform into thumbs, the next stage of the jissou life cycle.”
“The bigger the worm the more product they make when this process starts.”
The camera shows workers scattering food into each maggot house like chicken feed.
“This feeding method helps each wormling have equal access to food, no feeding bowls here.”
You see maggots playfully wonder around their homes, newly surprised each time they find a food pellet.
“Jissou, like animals, will sometimes pick a spot for waste to go, this is helped with some colorful signage to help the worms understand where waste goes.”.
You see each house has a corner for a bathroom, little signs depect a maggot going in the hole provided.
“If a worm does not use the corner they are taken else where.”
“After a week of feeding, the worms have grown ten times in size.”
“In this area of the harvesting floor, is a different batch of Jissou, ready to start the harvesting process.”
These Jissou maggots are much larger, each one the size of a large fruit.
“To start, they skip the feeding period just before bed time, making the wormlings eager to eat whatever is put in front of them the next day.”
The camera shows this part, maggots pressed against the glass begging for food.
“Now famished the worms devour their new food, meaty little bits of mushed protein.”
“This protein will be used in making it's transformation cocoon, this is the product that manufacturing is gathering.
“They eat this meal all day, plenty is left for them to eat through out the evening.”
You see one maggot laying on its side.”Tummy hurt refu…”
“This one has eaten to much, but don't worry, it will still be able to do its job.”
“The real work starts here when the worms go into a food coma, caused by the densely packed food.”
A worker reaches into a jissou home and pulls out a sleepy maggot.
“One at a time, each worm is put into a wooden holder. Each holder is hooked up to a motor that gently rocks the placed jissou to sleep.
“To keep them happy, workers gently stroke the worms stomach. This keeps stress down and production up.”
Stressed out Jissou get belly rubs, each one finishing dramatically before finally falling asleep.
“The combination of high protein food and sleep will trigger the jissous transformation process.”
The camera zooms in, onto the face of a maggot Jissou.
“As it rocks, material begins to stream out of the worms nose. Normally the worm would rock itself, making the streaming material gather around it like cocoon.”
“This material is dense with proteins, and lacks the coloring the other jissou thread has.”
“This makes it extra strong and silky, like a high quality product.

“A worker gathers the nose threads and slowly strings them along onto a gathering bobbin so that they can be gathered up into a tough glossy thread.”
“The size of the Jissou helps them produce thread, carbohydrates are spent to make the thread and the protein induces production as well as making it a strong quality product.”
“With this method the worms will produce thread for days.”
“At the end of harvesting, the jissou is disposed of.”
The camera shows a worker grabbing an emaciated maggot from its holder. It shrunk to half it's size, its tiny body being forced to make thread for far longer then it is normally capable of.
They throw it into a bin full of dead maggots, tiny grayed out red and green eyes glare up from the bottom.
“From here the thread goes to a fabric manufacturer, where larges rolls of thread are turned into everyday products.”
“Now Jissou can add to our way of life instead of destroying it.”
