Kinda wondering about art on guro art, but as either Warcraft or Age of Empire style corpse decay animation, or sequential comic panels of their decay stage-by-stage.
So making a thread here to compile it.

there are multiple decomp threads on this board already, this seems so niche it'll just end up dying with like 4 posts lol

    I am aware of them.
Just that I kinda wish it was like state by state sequential arts.
Or maybe Warcraft or Age of Empire style gif.

Not exactly AoE/warcraft style but i think buddhist kusozu/kusokan paintings may be right up your alley OP, look it up

Only saw one set, but not sure if there are more versions.

If you want specifics, you should search 九相図 on pixiv. You can find sequence of rotting bodies from fresh to skeleton.

There should be more, it was an entire genre of historical japanese paintings
Admittedly it's been a while since the last time i looked it up, so maybe google has changed their search policy or something

Damn, this is cool stuff. Researching this stuff, apparently it's a thing they actually used to do in some Buddhist countries, sit and watch corpses decomposing as a form of meditation, to reduce sexual desire and attachment to the body. Kind if ironic that some people use this imagery as porn, lol.

yeah lol i wonder how often this type of meditation ends up having the opposite effect on some of the monks, for the same reason some of us modern degenerates find this stuff hot: watching a hot lady, often of high(ish) status gets degraded into just meat and worm food
    >>
    Yeah.
Still can't find gif or animation on unit decay arts.
Like Warcraft and Age of Empire.

Not decomposition but GunRoad has some beautiful sprite death animations
    >>
DF_Kraken also made a mod with erotic death sprites for Starcraft
