Eh, I'm not a fan of animal cruelty. Honestly, I wouldn't have included the animals at all, but I needed more details for the workshop, and adding additional girls sort of flies in the face of "One girl a month, and maybe rarely more than that are snuffed." It's hard to make something seem unusual when it's rather ubiquitous.
