Regarding "not as much detail": This IS kind of my first time really writing guro that was worth publishing. That, and I'm not as fond of bloody details as some people.

Regarding "not revealing what the ovaries were for": That was deliberate. In TVTropes terms, it would fall under "Sequel Hook" or "Saved For The Sequel". (Also, the eyes they took out and treated. Trust me, I have plans for both things.)
