Ding-dong!

Twilight, in her study, looked up from her book. Now, who could that be? she wondered. She certainly wasn't expecting any deliveries, and her apprentice Liza Doolots wouldn't be back for hours - after the last couple of weeks, Twilight had felt she deserved a day off to spend with her friends, and had told her to go have fun. And her own friends, she knew, were busy with their usual work today. Rarity had let them know of her plans to spend the day creating with some of the newest material she'd gotten. Pinkie was busy at Sugarcube Corner, Applejack had orchards to harvest, and Fluttershy was watching over the animals at her cottage. Rainbow Dash wasn't even in town: she had practice with her fellow Wonderbolts Reserves that day, though she'd be back the next morning.

Sighing, she rose to her feet and headed for the door. If this is some salespony, I'll harvest him!, she silently muttered to herself, and instantly felt guilty. No. Bad Twilight. No harvesting those who haven't volunteered, or committed heinous crimes. And interrupting your reading is not a heinous crime. Taking somepony's brain for something that minor makes you no better than the ones you have harvested. Like those child-stealers from Manehatten. She sighed as she reached the door and opened it. Then, she smiled as she recognized the girl waiting for her.

"Scootaloo! Nice to see you. What's up?"

The orange pegasus girl smiled back. "Hey, Twilight. Can... can I come in?"

"Of course! Right this way." Leading Scootaloo to the parlor off the main hall, she found a seat. "Now, what can I do for you?"

"It's... complicated." Scootaloo fidgeted. "You know how Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle got harvested a while back."

"Of course I know. I have their brains here, alive and well, if you want to talk to them."

"Maybe in a little while. But the thing is..." Scootaloo sighed. "I want to join them, Twilight. I want you to take my brain and put it in with theirs. And I want Rainbow Dash to have my parts."

Twilight looked at the younger girl. "That's a big decision, Scootaloo. Are you sure?"

"Absolutely." Scootaloo's hands clenched. "Sweetie Belle gave up her body so her sister could have a pretty handbag. Apple Bloom let her family turn her into things they needed for their farm. Rainbow Dash means the world to me. The least I can do is let her use me for whatever she wants." She looked up and smiled. "Besides, it's not like I'll be gone forever - I know you can keep me alive, even if I'm just a brain in a jar. And I know you've already got one reserved for me. It's time to put it to use."

Twilight smiled. "I understand. I'll talk to Rainbow Dash. But... you should probably talk to your parents too. You're underage, so you need their permission for this."

Scootaloo grimaced. "I don't have parents, Twilight. I have a parent. And he barely knows I exist half the time, let alone what I do. I gave him the papers to sign about a week ago, and he just glanced at them, signed them and told me to have fun. So legally, you can harvest me anytime you want." She pulled an envelope out of her pocket. "Here."

"Oh." Twilight took the papers, and studied them. "Well, it's legit. I'll... I'll let Rainbow Dash know, so we can decide what to do with you."

"Thank you." Scootaloo looked at her. "This means a lot to me, you know."

"I know." Twilight read over the papers again, then rose. "Come on. You want to see Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle now?"

"Sure!"

"Come on then. I'll take you to the Brain Room." Taking Scootaloo to the hand, she led her down the hall, and took two jars from the shelves. Setting them on the table in the middle of the room, she pressed a button on each jar. "Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle? You there?"

"Twilight!" two voices exclaimed. Then, Apple Bloom continued. "How're you doing?"

Twilight smiled. "I'm doing fine. And I brought you a visitor." She turned to Scootaloo. "I'll be in my study when you're done, okay?"

"Okay." Scootaloo looked at the jars. "Hey, girls."

Twilight smiled as the two brains squealed in joy, and slipped out. Heading for her study, her face turned pensive as she began wondering how Rainbow Dash would react to this.

~*~

Two days later, everything was all set, as Scootaloo lay face down and completely naked on the metal table in the middle of Twilight's lab, while Twilight was checking her tools. "Now, you're absolutely sure you're ready," she told the younger girl. "I've already done the brain preservation spell, but you can still back out."

"Of course I'm sure," Scootaloo growled. "Come on, Twilight. Cut me open and turn me into... whatever it is you want to turn me into!"

"Right." Twilight selected a scalpel, then concentrated as she cast the paralysis spell on Scootaloo. "Liza, I need you now."

"Right here, Miss Twilight," Liza piped up as she dashed into the room. "What do we do first?"

"Well, you remember how we took Lightning Dust's wings a few weeks ago," Twilight told her apprentice. "We're going to do the same thing here. The only difference is, they're a lot smaller than Lightning Dust's were. They never fully developed, you know. That's why she couldn't fly like other pegasi her age." Her own wings shifted as she handed Liza the scalpel.

"Okay." Liza looked at Scootaloo, studying the other girl's back. Carefully, she pressed the scalpel against the skin, right at the edge of the joint, and began slicing into the bare flesh. Twilight watched with pride as Liza cast the sealing spell on the wound almost immediately, and then began cutting deeper until she'd reached the joint where the wing bone attached to the shoulder blade, and then selected a different scalpel to pry it loose. Once she'd gotten the wing out, she turned to the other one, and repeated the process. After both wings were out, she set them aside, and turned to Twilight. "Now what?"

"These wings need to be treated," Twilight told her. Glancing at Scootaloo, she ruffled the naked girl's hair. "While I'm doing that, you can skin Scootaloo. Keep the skin intact, just like we've been doing, okay?"

"Okay." Liza examined Scootaloo's back, and began slicing her open along the spine. Twilight watched for a minute, then carried the wings to another part of the room. Setting them on a layer of bandages set with herbs, she carefully wrapped them up, then muttered a spell. This was a variation on the spell she'd been using on the eyes she'd taken, but it took much less time to convert the flesh into its new form: a mere three days, rather than forty. Also, the altered wings would only be suitable for use as decorations now, not for the... other things Twilight had in mind for the converted eyes.

That reminds me, she thought to herself. Starlight's eyes should be ready in just a few days. She smiled. I can't wait to see how they work.

Turning back to Liza and Scootaloo, her smile grew. Her apprentice had been working much faster than she'd expected, and Scootaloo's skin (including from her head) was nearly off. In another minute, it was done, and Liza had it stretched out on its rack, just like she'd been taught.

Crossing the room, Twilight rejoined her apprentice. "Eyes next," she told Liza. "I'll hold the mirror."

Liza nodded, and set to work. Very shortly, she had the eyes out and in their jar. Another few minutes of work, and they'd stripped the flesh from her head, cut open the skull, and taken the brain out and set it in its own jar, the lights now blinking green and blue. Twilight pressed a button on the jar. "You doing okay in there, Scootaloo?"

"I'm good," Scootaloo's voice replied. "It's... different, but not so bad. Stinks that I can't move, but I'll manage."

"That's good. I'm going to take you in with the others now, okay?" She glanced at Liza. "You can start harvesting her other organs now. Save the ovaries for me."

Liza nodded, then began cutting again, while Twilight carried her jar into the hall.

Out there, she found a worried and pacing Rainbow Dash, who stopped as she saw Twilight. "Is she okay?"

Twilight chuckled. "She was a real little trooper. Handled it even better than Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle did."

"Rainbow Dash!" Scootaloo's excited voice cried from the jar.

Rainbow Dash's eyes dropped to the jar. "Hey, squirt. How you doing in there?"

"I'm good." There was a sigh. "Thank you, Rainbow Dash. For supporting me. If you'd said no..."

"Ah..." Rainbow Dash blushed. "You're my number one fan, and the closest I have to a little sister. What kind of big sister would I be if I didn't support you?"

While Scootaloo no longer had a face, Twilight and Rainbow Dash could almost hear her smiling in response. Then, Twilight handed Rainbow Dash the jar. "Here. You can take her to the Brain Room, okay? I'll let you two have some time alone together."

"Right. Thanks, Twilight." Accepting the jar, Rainbow Dash headed down the hall, leaving Twilight to re-enter her lab, where Liza had sliced open Scootaloo's belly and was examining the organs. Smiling, Twilight went to join her.

Liza glanced up as her teacher as she approached. "How are they?"

"Scootaloo's happy, and Rainbow Dash is too," Twilight replied as she studied the open body. "Pass me that liver, would you?"

Liza nodded, as she carefully extracted the large organ. "Here you go, Miss Twilight."

"Thank you, Liza."

About an hour later, the work was done. Scootaloo's organs were all in their separate jars, her skin was being treated per Rarity's instructions, her meat had mostly been wrapped up and stored in the freezer, the appropriate DNA samples were in their own chambers, her bones had been wiped clean and were laid out on another table in the lab, and Twilight was in the kitchen. Having saved some of Scootaloo's meat for this, she'd wrapped the strips of muscle around a mixture of cheese and spices, then dredged the pieces and was currently pan-frying them.

"Hey, Twilight?"

Twilight looked up to see a familiar rainbow mane at the door. "Hey, Rainbow Dash. Dinner's just about ready."

"Smells good." Rainbow Dash looked at her. "Can I ask you something?"

"Sure. What's up?"

"Well... what do you use those eyes and ovaries for, anyway? Liza told me you were saving them from everypony you'd harvested."

Twilight smiled. "In a few days, I can show you what I'm doing with the eyes. The ovaries... well, I'm still keeping that one close to my vest right now."

"You store them in your bra?"

Twilight chuckled. "Very funny, Rainbow Dash. But seriously, I have plans for all that DNA." She turned to the pan. "We're almost done here. Hand me those plates, so I can take this up."

A short while later, the two women and Liza were sitting in the dining room, contentedly munching on their dinner.

"Mmm," Rainbow Dash moaned as she swallowed a bite. "This is really good. What'd you say it was called again?"

"Scootaloo cordon bleu," Twilight replied as she sliced a bite off her own serving. "Based on chicken cordon bleu. The Prench words mean "blue ribbon", because it's considered a prize-winning dish."

"Cool." Rainbow Dash looked at her serving, then shrugged and took another bite. "Seriously, Scootaloo is delicious. Kind of a shame we can't have her more often."

"Yes... a shame." Twilight's eyes gleamed.

Rainbow Dash looked at her oddly. "I know that look. You're planning something big, aren't you?"

"I am, but it'll be a while before Liza and I can get that part of the operation up and running." Twilight smiled mysteriously, before changing the subject. "So. We have everything set. Tomorrow, Liza and I will start converting Scootaloo's parts, and if all goes well, we should be done with everything by the end of the week. You can pick up your order then."

"Will do. You know, you never have told me just what you were going to make out of her," Rainbow Dash commented as she finished the last of her dinner.

"Oh, just a couple of things," Liza piped up. "I think you'll be pleasantly surprised."

Rainbow Dash nodded. "I'll take your word for it, kiddo. And... thanks again, Twilight. You made Scootaloo really happy when you agreed to harvest her."

"You're welcome, Rainbow Dash."

A week later, five girls and three jars were waiting in the parlor.

"Ah'm kind of surprised Twilight invited all of us here for this," Applejack remarked. "Did she tell you why?"

Had she been looking at a whole person, they would have shook their head. "She's kept this one quiet," Scootaloo's voice came from her jar's speaker. "Hasn't told me a thing, which is kind of surprising since it's my old body she's been working with. I know a little bit that was my idea, but that's all."

"She hasn't told any of us brains what it is," Apple Bloom's voice piped up. "She must really want to keep this a surprise."

Applejack patted the jar with a smile. "Guess we'll jest have to wait and see."

"Not for much longer," Twilight said as she entered the room, Liza right behind her. "Sorry to keep you waiting, girls. But the big surprise is here." She glanced into the hall. "Okay, Starlight, you can bring her in."

"Starlight?!" everypony chorused.

Twilight nodded. "Starlight."

Just then, the sound of rhythmic squeaks filled the air. Moments later, Starlight Glimmer walked in, pushing a metal trolley with a tall, sheet-covered object on it.

Immediately, five girls jumped to their feet, one diving behind the couch. "She... she..." Rarity stammered. "She's alive?"

Rainbow Dash whirled around to look at Twilight accusingly. "You told us you harvested her! We saw the skin in Rarity's shop! How is she still up and walking around?"

Twilight grinned. "That's part of my surprise. One of the books I found a while back had instructions for how to make, and I quote, a statue that may work for you. I used Starlight's bones to create the frame, attached a layer of synthetic flesh, layered in some extra spells and then added the final ingredient to activate it." She gestured to the woman with the trolley. "That's not really Starlight, it just looks like her."

The room grew quiet as they processed this.

"Whoo-ee," Applejack whistled. "That's... that's really something, Twilight."

"Indeed," Rarity commented as she approached the walking statue and began looking up and down its body. "If I hadn't been working with her skin myself, I'd swear this was the real thing. How did you make her so... life-like?"

Twilight grinned. "It's all in the eyes. Literally."

"The eyes?" Pinkie Pie looked at them. "They don't look too life-like. They look kind of glassy to me."

Twilight nodded. "Somehow, I'm not surprised you could see that, Pinkie. Behind the illusion, they are glassy. You all know that when I harvested Starlight, I took out her eyes. Just like I do with everypony else I harvest."

"Indeed," Rarity commented. "But I must admit, I found it a little... odd that they weren't among the parts you gave me."

"Especially since she could have used them," Sweetie Belle added from her jar. "She used my eyes to decorate her jewelry case, after all."

Twilight chuckled. "Sorry, Rarity. But I already had plans to use them for this." She looked at the group. "The instructions I found said that if you take the eyes from a living being, pack them in certain herbs and cast the appropriate spell on them, they'll eventually become glassy. Then, you can put them in a statue and bring it to life."

"You mean... those really are Starlight's eyes in her head?" Fluttershy's soft voice whimpered from behind the couch. "That's... creepy."

"Weird too," Rainbow Dash added, glancing at her friend. "Then again, we are talking about using pieces of a formerly living pony for something, so... I guess we passed weird a while back anyway."

Twilight shrugged. "I thought it was kind of creepy too at first. But... you know me and experimenting with magic. Besides, it's perfectly safe. One of the spells I embedded into the frame means the statue literally can't do anything unless I specifically tell it. It's a precaution so it doesn't go out of control. So you can come out from behind there, Fluttershy."

Fluttershy's head peered out over the back of the couch. "Are you sure?"

"Positive." Twilight grinned. "Come on." She helped the other girl to her feet and into a chair, then glanced at the others. "And that wasn't the only change I made to the original plans. We found a note in with the rest of the spell, and it suggested an extra step for preparing the eyes that would improve the whole effect."

Rarity quirked her head. "Oh?"

Twilight nodded. "The writer hadn't confirmed it would work when they wrote the instructions down, but Liza and I tried it anyway, and it worked out perfectly. Liza, you want to tell them?"

The small unicorn girl nodded. "There's an old legend that when someone dies, their eyes reflect the last thing they ever saw. Miss Twilight held up a mirror to Starlight's face while I took her eyes, and when we put them in the statue, they turned it into a copy of her."

Rarity's own eyes widened. "Oh my."

Twilight nodded. "I wasn't entirely sure it would work like I wanted, since we'd taken her skin off first, but as you can see, that didn't have any effect on the illusion. And best of all, we can make her look like anypony we've harvested like this. All we have to do is swap out the eyes. I have several more sets that aren't done yet, but once they're ready..."

Rarity looked thoughtful. "That is something. Er... did you treat Suri's eyes like this?"

"I did. They won't be done until next week though."

"Well, once they are... could you create another of these statues for me, and let me have Suri's eyes for it? She'd make such a wonderful model for my shop."

Twilight laughed. "I'll get right on it. But for now, I want to show you one of my other projects. Starlight, please remove the cover cloth from the items you brought in."

The ambulatory statue nodded. "As you wish." With a flourish, it did as commanded, revealing... a glittering skeleton.

Kneeling on a circular disc, Scootaloo's bones had been coated in a thin layer of orange-tinted coloring, exactly matching her skin's original shade. Her face looked upward, her mouth open in a happy smile, her arms spread wide in joy. Twilight had replicated the girl's hair atop the skull, and a pair of glass eyes sat in place of the originals. The whole form had been topped by a hawk-billed cap, which had Scootaloo's wings mounted on the sides.

Rainbow Dash's own mouth was wide with surprise as she studied the skeleton. "Twilight... this is..."

Twilight smiled. "There's a piping system that still needs to be installed, but once it's in and we put her on the base, your new rainbow fountain is all ready." She walked over and gently removed the hat, handing it to her friend. "And this is for you too. It was actually Scootaloo's idea, so you can thank her for it."

Taking the hat, Rainbow Dash put it on and smiled. "It's perfect. All of it." She patted the jar next to her. "Thanks, little buddy."

"You're welcome," Scootaloo told her.

Watching them, Twilight smiled. "I have one more surprise for you, Rainbow Dash. Liza? Do you want to get this one?"

Liza nodded, then ran out the door. Moments later, she was back with another trolley, which also had a sheet-covered object on it. This form was a lot shorter than the one Starlight had brought in though.

"We couldn't actually use all of her on just one thing," Twilight explained as she reached down to the bottom of the trolley. "Fortunately, we had enough left over that we could make a couple of gym bags." She presented the two bags to Rainbow Dash. "We used the skin from her arms and legs for these. I also worked a couple of durability and cleaning spells into the material so they'll last a very, very long time, and they'll never get dirty."

Rainbow Dash smiled as she took them. "Neat."

"And last but not least..." Twilight removed the sheet. "Voilà."

The item she'd revealed was recognizable as Scootaloo's naked body, minus the majority of its limbs. The girl's skin had been stuffed to the point where, had she not known otherwise, Rainbow Dash would have thought it was the real Scootaloo laying there. As she studied it, she saw that Twilight and Liza had sealed off the limbs in such a way that they now ended in little rounded stumps, and that her head was fully intact, save for the glass eyes Twilight had put in place of the originals.

"She's got the same durability and cleaning spells on her as your gym bags," Twilight explained. "You can use her as a pillow, as something to cuddle up with at night... or for a few other things." She winked.

Scooping up the Scootaloo pillow, Rainbow Dash hugged her. "Thank you, Twilight." Setting the pillow down, she hugged Twilight next. "All of this... it's awesome, and absolutely perfect."

"You're welcome." Twilight clapped her hands. "And now... Starlight? Cold one. For each of us."

The statue nodded. "As you wish." Reaching for her stomach, she pressed a little button, prompting the lower portion of her torso to open... revealing several bottles inside. Taking them out, she handed them to Twilight, who began passing them around.

"An extra feature I added," she explained. "Her main body cavity doubles as a mini-fridge."

"Cool." Rainbow Dash smirked as she accepted her bottle. "Literally."

When everypony present had their drinks, Twilight popped the lid off hers. "Ladies? A toast. To Scootaloo, and her sacrifice. Hear hear!"

"Hear hear!" came a chorus of voices (including from the three brain jars). Then seven bottles clinked, and seven girls drank deeply.

"Ahh..." Rainbow Dash sighed as she finished hers. "Fizzy apple cider, just the way I like it. Nice touch."

Twilight flashed her a smile. "Why, thank you."

~*~

Later that night, Rainbow Dash sat on the bed in her cloudiminium. She'd brought her new fountain home, and it currently sat in her foyer, just waiting to be installed. Her new hat and gym bags were in her closet, and the Scootaloo pillow rested in her arms. Nuzzling the pillow's face, she smiled.

"Twilight did a wonderful job with you," she told the pillow. "Now... let's try out that other use she and your original suggested."

Laying the pillow on the bed, she pulled a special belt from her night table drawer. As she snapped it into place around her waist, she smiled, fondling the small horn, once a part of Sweetie Belle, that was now attached to the outside of the belt.

And as she began sliding the horn in and out of the pillow's cunt, her moans of pleasure filled the room.

Meanwhile, back at Twilight's castle, Twilight was at the desk in her study when her ears pricked up.

"Miss Twilight?" Liza asked from where she was sitting and reading. "Is everything all right?"

"Everything's just fine, Liza," Twilight told her apprentice.

"Okay." Liza went back to her reading, and Twilight looked down at her own book with a smirk.

Something tells me Rainbow Dash has just found out about that extra spell I put in her new pillow.

The one that makes it so
she feels any pleasure the pillow would have, if it was a normal living being.
