This was nice. While I usually prefer a more lighthearted approach (and younger characters), something like this can be nice to read too once in a while. Instead of having contrast with real world, it has contrast in itself between how sad the characters feel about death and how they still kill themselves willingly and it doesn's seem to occur to them to back off.
And you say there's more? I'm definitely looking forward to it.
