Hey folks, this is a short update to accompany the upcoming story that started as exposition in the actual chapter but I decided to post it seperatly as it ruined the pace.

Recently the legality of raping girls of any status or age was changed due to the further decline in male births. When a man's wife could be slaughtered at any moment these rare breeding males still had a duty to father offspring in hopes of a male birth. When a wife died that duty fell to his daughters.

Basically it was now impossible for a woman to be raped as there was no longer any laws against it though only a woman's husband could impregnate her but single women or girl was fair game. Girls are now taught as early as nursery that being taken by a man sexually was one of the greatest honours a woman of today's modern society could be given.
