No it is at the front of the post like a usual crucifixion. The small bar her feet are micronailed to doesn't spread her legs if she straightens them out but it is that effect when you kneel down and your legs spread in response to your weight. The bar their feet are sown to is like a 1 foot long metal pipe. Their feet are placed together, it's just that their legs spread when the bar brings their feet up. Also the feet are curled around the bar as if they are grabbing it but yes the toes are down and not forward.
