It is just strange to see Luna killing herself so many times, what makes me think what exactly is going on there :) not that I dislike it or something.

If you don't mind suggestions, how about writing a story about some psychotropic drugs?
I leave it for you to decide what it can be about but it could be something like a girl going insane and mutilating herself or just some loss of sense of pain.
