If you are interested in that real life event, it was story told by a surgeon who got a drunk patient. Now I am not sure if he sliced his own belly or he came to the hospital like that but either way he ended with his intestines dangling from his belly all drunk and aggressive.
He got a scalpel from doctors who were trying for cut his clothes or something and defended himself fiercely against doctors and nurses not letting for them to come close, and occasionally cutting pieces of his intestines and trowing the at the hospital staff. If not that they could just wait until he loses strength but since he was severely mutilating himself undertaker services could be required soon.
Eventually one doctor took an IV stand and smashed it into his head that way making him fall and calm down.
Nobody died, but if doctors were less careful it probably could have ended as in my story LOL


Drugging bunch of "girls" is also actually real life event but with diffrent consequences.
you can find military experiments with LSD on youtube when it was given to soldiers and how they behaved.
