…steal from the best. Which is why some of my stories (the Neon Genesis Evangelion ones in particular) have similarities to Aoi Hikari's work, he was a definitive inspiration to me when I was starting out (and an inspiration to start writing guro stories in the first place).

That idea with the don't-call-them-assassins does definitely look promising as well, I'll be sure to remember it. It also kinda made me think of the Suicidal Hotline story I wrote a while ago ( >>8267 ), might just steal the format of that one, it looks like it'd totally work here as well.
