Well, not only semantic, because of the way how you call it, it influences how people imagine it.

When you said "assassins" I immediately imagined them as some well-trained ninjas in masks with concealed weapons jumping around killing people.

Word "eutanasists" makes me imagine them as some doctors nurses in white coats holding syringe or other medical instruments.

Actually, that could be pretty interesting to read too.
But by my taste, I would prefer some uncommon ways of dying since I love originality.
something like for example jumping from the roof with the rope tied on the neck.
or competition between 2 women on who will manage to put more of their meat into the grinder.
It is interesting to see all kinds of uncommon ideas.
reading about the same and same thing over and over is not very appealing.

So maybe it could also be some TV show like American idol where women compete in how they die and possibly get paid :)
They do not do it on the stage but call the "assistance squad" to record it or do it on their own while streaming it.
