> haha, that was funny
Thanks!

> I just did not understand if this story started fresh or from where the first part left :)

It's the third part, so it continues from where the second part left.
Though a 'part' in this case is just how much I happen to write in one go. Like this last one ends almost mid-sentence, because this dialogue will be directly continued in the next part. When I finish, I'll post the whole story without dividing in into chapters, that way it would make more sense.

> they should rather be happy that they will not need any of that anymore

I dunno, that doesn't sound right to me.
The point is in the joy that the VR and violin would bring them.
So they're not happy that by being dead they won't need the joy.
But they're happy that by being dead they will not get it.
Makes sense?
To be more precise they laugh at the thought that by killing themselves for fun they would become unable to ever experience any more fun. Not that they would never need any more fun.

> This gave me an idea for another story where those two receive gifts they wanted for so long but instead of trying them they make sure they cannot use them ever and then fantasize how great it would have been.

If you're ever want to write a story or make a picture set inspired by my stories, by all means you're welcome.
