Here is a side-story that focuses on the two bystander characters.

The crowd of the NanoTek Christmas party looked on with horror as the poor headless girl melted down into green gelatin before them - her body twitching wildly the whole time.

Alana was one of those bystanders in the crowd. This was the young Hawaiian girl's first work party she's been to since she transferred to NanoTek's HR department just a few weeks earlier. She came to the party dressed in a short, flowing black dress, barely hanging off her shoulders and ending high up on her thighs. She also wore a pair of peep-toe heeled sock boots. She wore her long, straight black hair back in a ponytail, while a few strands hung down around her beautiful Polynesian face, framing it on both sides.

She did not come to the party with a date, but fully expected she'd be leaving with one. Which is also why she did not currently wear any sort of bra or panties.

She had heard rumors of horror stories like this happening at NanoTek, but she thought those were just bullshit stories to scare away the competition trying to work there. But this incident was proof that there was some veracity to those claims.

Alana watched on with morbid curiosity as the hapless victim continued to melt down. Watching as the test tube she just drank the Jello of Doom out of sank further into her ever-dissolving green gelatin body. Watching as her hand twitched while grabbing and pulling up her dress, unwittingly flashing her ass in a humiliating display. Alana winced away for a moment, letting out an "Ohh…" in a form of third party embarrassment.

The disintegrating girl finally fell to her knees as most of her torso became the green gelatin. Sensing that that was going to be a bit of a splash coming, Alana and the crowd around her took a few steps back. Alana could only back away so much before the crowd behind her prevented her from taking any further steps back.

And as expected, the unlucky girl-turned-horror show splattered on impact as her gelatin torso smacked onto the floor.

What wasn't quite as expected was that the gelatin then rebounded with great force off of the floor. The gelatin apparently had repulsive properties when it came to inorganic material. Large amounts of the jello soared through the air in an arc.

Unfortunately it was on a direct trajectory to land on a nearby redhead in a gorgeous green gown. Frozen in shock, the crowd watched helplessly as she was completely splattered in the gelatin from head to toe. It started breaking her down the same way as the first girl immediately on contact. She never even had a chance to scream before it broke down her full lips, mouth, and neck, then traveling up her pretty yet terrified face and down the rest of her body. It proceeded through her narrow nose, and up through her big blue doe eyes - leaving her bushy brown eyebrows behind. All the redhead could do was get out a pathetic gurgle before her head was totally replaced with the green goo and strands of her curly red hair fell to the floor intact or clung to the gelatin.

The gel permeated her dress and her white pantyhose and made very quick work of the poor redhead's body as she very quickly turned from bystander to fellow victim. Large tits, slim belly, toned stomach, supple arms and limber legs all quickly broke down inside of her glamorous outfit, nylons and heels. And in one final gesture, the melting figure twitched and a splash of the gel flew off what was her once her arm.

The gel luckily landed on an empty part of the floor rather close to Alana. She squealed as she tried to back up further, but couldn't because of the crowd. The gel bounced and splattered a few more times before it came to a rest about a foot away from her - and Alana breathed a sigh of relief…

Except she didn't see one tiny drop that had broken away, bounced on the floor a few times… and finally landed on Alana's big toe, right inside the front hole of her heel.

Alana's heart sank as she felt an unfamiliar, strange, and quite unpleasant tingling in her big toe - which almost instantly spread across her entire foot. As her foot gelatinized, she almost dropped to her side before balancing herself on her other foot while raising up her arms - which was made tricky by her high heeled boots.

She looked down in horror as she saw what she felt - the goo quickly traveling up limber leg, with the bottom plopping to the floor in large drops. The tingling grew in intensity, sending jolts of pain throughout the adjacent body-parts before they succumbed to the gel. She cursed herself for deciding to wear these slutty open-toe boots instead of her traditional closed-toe pumps like she was planning.

"Noo… god…. PLEEASE!!" Alana squealed in terror as the gel now stretched across her thigh, approaching her hips.

The crowd around her realized she was likely to be making a mess that could potentially get on them, and in a rather cruel act of self-survival, they gave Alana a rather harsh shove, propelling her body away from them.

As she landed on the floor with a cry, the gel worked through her hips and belly and essentially separated Alana into 2 pieces - her upper half and her remaining leg - and they tumbled to the floor individually. She looked backed at the crowd and screamed, "You BASTARDS! HELP ME– ACK-!!" Her anguished cry for help was cut short with a sickening gurgle as the gelatin worked through her lungs. She coughed up the goo sending, it across her tongue and lips and onto her chin - essentially speeding up the process as the gel now could spread from her pulmonary tract and across the rest of her insides, and now had quick access to her head and face.

The black dress had fallen off both of her shoulders on landing, exposing her generous tits to the crowd before they suffered the same fate as the rest of her body - erasing over two decades of nature's work.

Meanwhile, her remaining dismembered leg twitched here and there as the gel quickly worked through the thigh, the knee, the shin and ankle, and finally her cute foot - leaving the heeled boot fully intact (if not a bit messy).

As the gel worked up her face and across her small snub nose, she stared daggers at the crowd that had tossed her away. And before the gelatin fully claimed the rest of her head and her mind, Alana - the typically sweet and nice girl that always tried to help people - used her final moments in spite as she tried tossing a piece of her gelatin self at the crowd.

It futilely landed on the floor nowhere near them as the gel consumed the rest of her head, thus ending Alana's pitiful life.

Within a few more seconds, Alana was nothing but a puddle of the green gel with her hair, her dress and her boots intact yet completely contaminated in the mess. Small bubbles popped pathetically on the surface of her new form - until she was cleaned up and disposed of entirely.

The incident was considered rather minor in comparison to what could've occurred. The fact that there were only 3 subjects were lost in the direct event was heralded as a success in hazardous containment procedures.

And with Alana being a rather new employee, it made it fairly easy to deal with her disappearance security-wise. The crowd had their minds wiped of the incident the night of the party, and any record of her having ever worked that was completely erased from all NanoTek records and systems. It was if she never had existed as far as NanoTek was concerned - although some members of Human Resources were curious why they were suddenly down a human.
