You misunderstand me. I get that the goal is to write stories in which the characters can sort of be tied to "real people", even if it's only your mental image of them.

What I don't understand, is how this thread is actually supposed to accomplish that.

If this were on a forum where people had solidified online personalities, that you can recognize, and interact with regularly; but that's not the case here.

All these "women" could just as easily be randomly generated answers posted by a bot, and it wouldn't make any difference.

Without having an actual online persona to tie these descriptions to, how is this supposed to feel remotely real?

"women were having fun filling out their copies of Victoria's form"

I'd be surprised if more than 2 or 3 posters here were legitimately women.

Hell, I'd sooner bet that multiple of the "participants" are actually just 1 dude posting under different profiles.
