>Yeah, I always find it a bit of a shame when the deaths are too quick and done. After all, you send a lot of time building up the world, anticipation and the characters. So isn't it only fair to give the characters time to "enjoy" their deaths ? :-P Or more realistically giving our dear farmers time to savor the process, a bit like you savor a good meal and don't just ge it down in one gulp.
It's always difficult to decide how much detail to introduce. one approach is to leave some things to the reader's imagination, and another is to go all out describing every little thing.
I tend towards the latter for the sex and death scenes, and seem to get enthusiastic feedback for that approach. Probably the gruesome detail is better for fapping lol.
Anyway, I really appreciate your input on that aspect, this sort of feedback helps me calibrate my writing to some extent, although I'm gonna do what I'm gonna do.
>I dunno, I just maybe feel like the first death was a bit quick for my taste. But then again, I like your writing style, so I'm confident I'll enjoy it :-D .
Ah that's interesting. That scene didn't appear at all in the first version, so the reader had to wait for a few thousand words for the first death. Then I decided that was too long, and put that 'video' scene right at the beginning to set the tone. Although strictly speaking, it's not actually a death scene since Tara is still alive at the end of it. So in a way I didn't really give it the full treatment. Later deaths are much more detailed - and we revisit Tara again for part 2 of the video.
