"Ok this is it" announced their teacher Mr. Stevenson, "For your year end project I need you to get into groups of four. You'll be making a short film so please make sure there is at least one boy and girl unless you want to be playing a part in drag." For Cindy finding a group was easy. She already had her best friend Tara next to her and their sophomore film class included Andy, a boy who'd lived next door to her since they were kids, along with his buddy Zack.

"It seems that we have an odd person out, can one of you let Molly join please?" asked Mr. Stevenson. Hesitating for only a moment Cindy put her hand up and called her over. She did feel a little sorry that the mousy girl had been left out and having one more for their group would give them a leg up. She and Tara really needed a good mark on this assignment otherwise they wouldn't pass this year.

"So what's our film about?" asked Andy impatiently as soon as Zack pulled one of the folded slips of paper out of Mr. Stevenson's hat. Zack held it out of his reach until he'd brought it back to where Cindy, Tara and their newest member Molly were seated in a loose circle.

"Ok let me see. It says we're doing a... snuff film" read Andy.

"Is that like one of those movies where they rape and kill a girl? We could use my basement if we needed a place that was dark and foreboding" suggested Tara.

"If one of us is the victim then what do the other girls do, are there any other roles we can play?" wondered Cindy.

"Maybe there could be more than one victim" suggested Molly shyly.

"These are all good ideas" said Zack as he took charge, "Let's start writing a script and then we can film it over the weekend."
