Hi Mysterydude. Thanks for your opinion. I'm open to discuss the option of changing my username.
However, I cannot see that I infringe with somebody's privacy. My username declares what I was and what I am until today: an admirer of a webpage called "The Dark Realm Of Polaris". I chose my username carefully and deliberately, because I wanted create a space dedicated to this wonderful writer of erotic fiction and heavenly hellish fantasies.
Neither do I state to be this artist nor that my writings would be of the same quality.

Because the page is no longer, I wanted to recite the page's name, to honor it and so as other fans could reunite. Creating a recall value.

We could argue that the deletion of the page through the artist's own hands reflects his or her will that this name does not appear anymore. But this would be a mere hypothesis. Every artist who leaves the stage leaves a fan community behind, and all the artistic creation gets a life of its own, through literary reception, new interpretation, inspiration, ...

In fact, it had to be the artist him- or herself who could decide whether my username does infringe or honor his or her heritage.

To be honest: my hope is that this writer is still out there, and that he or she might come back, when seeing that the work is appreciated maybe more than he/she was aware during the period of active writing.

My soul burns for some deviant fantasies, since I can think. It never changed, as hard as I have tried, as much I have condemned myself over years. Now I'm in peace with it. I hope, Polaris is in peace as well, and his or her soul's fire still burns for fantastic creations in the unlimited and indefinite realm of devilish and divine fantasies.

Can you understand my intention?
You made a point at least: I'm in the SHADOW of this great writer, and I'm fine with that. I'm not intending nor able to steal Polaris' radiance.

All I wish is I'll have a conversation with Polaris one day. I regret deeply that I never did contact Polaris when he/she was still present with The Dark Realm of Polaris.

I'm open to other perspectives - more or less... ;-)
