Well, after thinking about it I decided you were right and I modified one of the last scenes, just before she enters the kitchen to tie that loose end. It's not much, but adding something more planned (from her side) would go against the plot and it was the reason I left it loose in the first place.

I think its a little better this way, but let me know what you think.
