Oh, this thread is what I was looking for! (Good to see you all again, by the way!) I had an idea saved in my notes from last year, let me reformat it into something a bit more coherent than 5am phone notes.

It’s set around a shop, set up like a department store, with many girls roaming around wearing price tags around their necks. The store sells human dolls, made out of the girls roaming the store. If a customer likes one of the girls enough, they can pay the price on the tag to have her preserved, and she is injected with a drug rendering her immobile and stopping decay, along with starvation and dehydration - essentially a permanent doll! (Hand waving here.) How much consciousness the doll retains can be left up to the writer.
Once the doll is purchased, the buyer can do anything they want with her - absolutely anything. It’s part of the appeal! A self-lubricating doll that will always be compliant? Sounds like a fantasy come true!
