Sorry, I possibly remembered a wrong title (or there were two very different stories with similar titles): the "Leftovers" I did remember was a story where some girls were paid to be on display in a restaurant, with the pact that, if chosen, they would have been cut off the desired piece of meat and then being left dying in the litter bin. It's not the kaosangel's one (although I do like some of the kaosangel's stories)
