What do you mean about AO3 being difficult to browse? It's the best thing that exists for stories.
Pixiv requires registration to read porn/guro stories, but otherwise is probably the best option after AO3. Sadly, I had to leave it after its random censorship policy got to me.
Lolicit and Ravishu are forums, and I'd say browsing those is what is unwieldy, at least for the sake stories, because that software was never meant to be a platform for creative writing, while AO3 is. Also Lolicit specializes on loli, so a guro work won't fit if it happens to have no lolis, and ravishu I'm not familiar about, but it looks like it specializes on rape, so consensual guro would probably not fit, and I don't know if they allow underage characters. Also lolicit requires not only registration, but aquiring a certain amount of reputation points before one can read the stories. Yes, even to just read, not only to write.
An alternative to lolicit can be ATF, which is also a forum focusing on lolis, but only requires registration to read stories, still inferior to AO3 though.
And finally Aryion specializes on vore.
