True, but also consider the readers. How many people go to a site about rape to read consensual stories or to a site about vore for non-vore stories? There are people who wouldn't even bother registering on pixiv, as simple as it is, and getting reputation on top of that like Lolicit requires... speaking from my own experience: I have registered back in 2015, but then I saw it wouldn't let me see any actual content without reputation points, I was like: "alright, it's late today, so maybe I'll think about it tomorrow" and then I never actually bothered because I can cum to a picture or story from anther source with easier access faster than wrapping my mind around how to gain full access to lolicit. Only when I encountered pixiv censorship now in 2021 and had to look for other places to post my Koikatsu renders I have bothered to actually try and gain the reputation, but just to consume content? Didn't sound worthwhile to me.

In the meanwhile to read a story on AO3 one doesn't even have to register, only say yes when asked if you're old enough to read adult stuff.

Also I will stand my ground on AO3 being better suited for stories than any forum. Forums were developed for discussions, and that's what they're good at, but as far as hosting stories goes, AO3 was developed just for that and does it better.

And just look and how Aryion tries to present stories in square thumbnails like they were pictures. I'm sure there must be good stories in there somewhere, but just looking at this interface hurts my eyes and makes me not want to bother.
