I don't know, I think she's too fatalistic for that. I can, however, see her watching in amusement as another girl, possibly a relative, cracked from the pressure of wondering when the meat machines would come for her and attacked one to get herself snuffed and break the tension.

Given what we know from this story, that might actually result in Charlotte's own snuffing, if a female family member actually damages a meat machine. Something to think about, for sure!
