This night I had a dream where I was half aware I was trying to come up with guro ideas, but also half dreaming that I was reading them on gurochan, which is probably how they ended up involving cannibalism even though I'm not really into it.

The first idea was about a brother and a sister who started a bit distant to each other, but grew closer through the course of the story, and the story would consist of separate scenes with timeskips between them, a form I have never mastered myself (initially I wanted to write Innocence like that, but quickly switched to my usual style of all things happening right after each other). One particular scene I remember involved the sister telling her brother that she's being transferred to his school (apparently they went to different schools until that point), which I guess was supposed to be the point where they started getting closer. But then it was also set in the world of casual cannibalism, like Sydneyverse, and there was some point about how the sister started growing breasts and her new class had a tradition of eating one girl from the class every year, and apparently her growing breasts made her the appealing target for that. Although that particular point felt optional and the real point was that while throughout the story the brother and sister grow closer to each other in the end she just casually gets eaten like it's no big deal. She doesn't mind of course, and neither does her brother, both treating it as just a matter of course. And the whole point really was how the brother developed a genuine familial love to his sister and at the same time wasn't at all bothered by her being eaten, because having your beloved sister being eaten is just not a thing one feels bothered about.

The second idea started pretty straightforward, where a girl gets herself cooked as a main course for her own birthday party. Maybe it was even connected to the first idea, where it was supposed to be how the sister in it would end up cooked. But then my dreamy mind shifted to the idea where it would be a pair of twins, a boy and a girl, probably I was thinking about my characters of choice - the Kagamine twins - and basically for their birthday they would both get cooked, each treating cooking themselves as a birthday gift to the other. Of course in the end it would mean neither of them would actually get a taste of the other, but if it's the Kagamine twins as depicted in my stories, they would probably only find this way to be even more fun.

Then there was a third idea, which was kinda also a variation on the first one. Specifically, when thinking about the process of how the siblings would gradually grow closer to each other, my dreamy mind came up with an idea: why bother writing such a complicated scenario, establishing characters and all this difficult stuff. Let's just find some old movie (the feeling of nostalgia from the movie being old was supposed to enhance the cozyness of the mood, I think) where the plot involves just that: a brother and a sister initially distant but growing closer through the course of the story. And then have the guro story be a sequel to that. I couldn't think of any particular movie, of course, but somehow my dreaming mind decided it had to be an adventure movie of some sort, and the siblings end up finding a treasure. Then the next scene in my mind is this pair of siblings boarding a train in the middle of nowhere (forest / jungle), I'm not sure if there was even a station or they just hitchhiked a train. I'm also not sure if this is supposed to be a continuation of the previous scenario (so they just found a treasure somewhere in these jungles and are now returning with it to civilization) or just another random one. Anyway, it involved the pair of siblings being pretty much the only passengers on this train in the middle of nowhere, or maybe more realistically the only passengers in their wagon (it also didn't have compartments, and instead just a row of sits on each side, like a bus would have, or like the old trains seen in RDR2). There was just one more passenger around, which was myself as a narrator and possibly protagonist? I remember that I happened to overhear the conversation the siblings had, but unfortunately I don't remember what exactly was it that I overheard and how it was supposed to lead to cannibalism or any other sort of guro. Logic dictates that this setup must lead to the protagonist overhearing about the treasure and killing the kids to rob them, but that can't be it, right? Because that's just not the kind of story I would come up with. It has to be something consensual. Oh. How about they get cooked or otherwise willingly and happily killed as a way for them to celebrate the success of their expedition? Now that would be just the right kind of nonsense to fit my style.

Anyway, the point here, as usual, is: feel free to get inspiration from any of this and write whatever you want from it.
