Another reply from Ed:
"Sidney's biography has rather evolved over time and has to be pieced together from various stories but here is the gist of it, with character profile.
She is the youngest child of billionaire Orin Roebuck, a cross between Donald Trump and Daddy Warbucks. Her mother died giving birth to her and she has two significantly older brothers. While not exactly a spoilt brat as she is kind and friendly, she has definitely grown up "privileged" and, as the baby of the family and only girl, used to getting her own way. She is a tough, sporty tom-boy who prides herself on keeping up with her brothers - think of Missy from "Young Sheldon". She does not have that many friends her own age but is close to a girl called Jessie whose mum works for her dad.
She had been looking for a purpose in life and way that she could make her mark on the world. One day, Jessie shows her a book of cannibal jokes and cartoons - it triggers something deep in both of them and together they decide to campaign to legalise cannibalism, planning to go to slaughter side by side when the time comes. However, Jessie's mum refuses to let her be involved so Sidney campaigns on her own, leading to a rift between them as Jessie believes Sidney is taking credit for her idea. This is what leads Jessie eventually to run away and, many decades later, make up the lie that she and Sidney had swapped places at the last minute. Sidney kept trying to patch things up and went to her death believing that the restaurant chain her dad was going to open in her memory would be called "Jess'N'Sidney's" rather than just "Sidney's" as it ends up. When this comes out, seventy years or so after the fact, the Sidney's corporation open a secondary chain of burger/fast food places called "Jessie T's" to try to put things right while preserving their established brand.
Although not at all a “girly girl”, her marketing team create the Dolly Parton-esque look for her after realising the look they were originally planning was too close to the Wendy’s mascot and may cause legal difficulties. When not “on duty”, she prefers jeans, dungarees, loose t-shirts or baggy tops like hockey jerseys etc. and usually wears her naturally straight hair in a pony-tail. As part of her efforts since starting her campaign, she has worked with dieticians and personal trainers to turn her body into the best possible meat, hence your observations about her figure, wanting to convince people that girls were every bit as suitable a source of food as pigs or cows.
Sidney began her campaign on Tick-Tock and other social media before her dad really got behind it and hired/assigned her her own publicity team. When she tells the story in the media, she leaves Jessie out and says she found the book herself in her dad’s library. She doesn’t feel good about doing this but it is the “official” story her team have presented.
Hope this helps! Anything else you want to know, please do ask! "
