Or the "which one of us is the clone" is played from the start. Unlike the way she normally hunts our POV character finds herself in the 'prey' outfit, a threadbare piece of clothing with only a tiny knife for defense. In theory the clone she remembers making should be at the same disadvantage and yet as the hunt has progressed (we join the story mid-hunt where she's wounded and running) her opponent always seems to be one step ahead.

This and other small clues make her wonder if she's the clone as she scrambles for a place to hide. And since she's always made the hunt a one-sided affair she fears that she's doomed to die. She remembers how she's given so many victims a head start, letting them think they had a chance so that their eventual deaths would that much more terrifying.

But in a surprise ending the girl we've been following manages to flip the tables and trap the other one. She takes great delight torturing her twin to death while taunting her about how even though she's the clone she's going to take the real one's place now.

She's relieved right until a third twin appears dressed in proper hunting fatigues and with her usual high powered stun rifle and gutting machete. This one reveals that it's been an erotic delight watching the two clones hunt each other so ruthlessly and now that the 'best' one has been decided she's going to enjoy killing her, after giving the clone a head start of course.
