I added him having second thoughts because I felt that added more realism to the characters. Everyone has the little voice of doubt, more so the younger someone is. I also wanted to tap into how children are more prone to make impulsive decisions without thinking about the consequences.


The farm setting...I had (have?) a very specific way I was going to kill the second girl. Which would only really make sense if the setting was on a farm. The clues on how the second girl was going to be killed are all there. Be interested if someone could figure it out.
