I normally don't like sci-fi or fantasy elements that completely rewrite how guro works, but the Q-knives were really creative & used to great effect. You wear your influences on your sleeve, but this is also the most unique & inspired work I've read in some time.

I tried looking for mistakes to critique, but found very little. Your tenses are inconsistent (describing the same events as either past or present with no clear reason), but that's the only noticeable thing.
