Yes, rape was mentioned, as well as fact that for some reason female breasts were considered as premium food too even if it does not seem that there is anything very tasty in them :) And also young children were highly prefered and I think that probably not just for nutritional value :)
So probably those sexy details are really omitted or it is also possible that art lest in regions with black people women are unsexy and unattractive like one traveler described on tv when he was asked about how does it feel to be surrounded by naked women his reply was that those women are so unattractive that it doesn't even matter if they are naked :)
Which also can be a reason why China seem to be more intereted in sexy things than other regions mentioned in the book where women are not that attractive as in asia.

Not sure what you will post later but so far I see that there will not be much mentioned about cannibalism in europe/roman empire or middle east/Cartagena at some time infanticide and murder was used as population control in form of sacrifice. It is totally reasonable that when you reduce population life gets much better for the rest so it totally works :)
If they had mortal gladiator fights and killed everyone left and right it woud be strange that nobody was reenacting gurochan cannibalism stories in real life.
