I also wanted to comment that I would've rather spelled it as レベッカ but double checking at Wikipedia and Wiktionary apparently it isn't actually pronounced with double consonant in English? レベッカ has more matches on Google though, but it might be because it's a name of some rock band from the 80s.
Funny how Japanese has almost perfectly phonetical spelling as long as you stick to kana, and English is the true hieroglyphic where you should just memorize spelling and pronunciation separately and don't dare trying to derive one from the other.
