In this school two students from the graduating classes would be chosen each year, a boy and a girl, to be taxidermied and put at the school’s entrance gate to greet the students for the next year.
“What a beautiful tradition”, Rin said. “I wonder if we’ll get to partake when we graduate?”
“There’s no way they won’t choose us”, Len said, “we’re perfect for this, aren’t we?”
“Yeah, I’m sure we’ll look lovely”, Rin agreed. “Anyway, let’s hurry to the classes”.
“Sure”, Len nodded, “there’s still three years of study, let’s try not to get expelled in that time”.
