I kinda like the absurdity of deadly entertainment combined with peculiar decency standards. It's okay to watch a girl getting her head chopped off, but her crotch should be covered, or people shouldn't be shown her face while she dies, or it shouldn't be sexualized. It's okay to eat people, but the slaughtering and such should be private.
