Anna’s first memory is the death of her twin sister Belle.
It was the first time they had chocolate. For Belle it also became her last. Somehow, identical as they were, Belle appeared to be allergic to chocolate, even though Anna could eat it just fine. And so Anna kept putting square after square of this amazing new delicacy in her mouth while watching Belle suffocate. Anna took her time savoring both the overwhelming taste and Belle’s death agony. By the time the chocolate was finished, so was Belle.
Needless to say, ever since then chocolate became Anna’s favorite sweet.
