I guess if I really wanted to explain anything it is that this place is a lawless place, exciting and dangerous. The girls never know what to expect although it's probably something bad and it probably happens when they're not expecting it. Some may enjoy it, some may hate it, most are simply trying to survive. They probably believe that by sacrificing the most unimaginably beautiful girls they can avoid the same fate. At least it takes the heat off most of the rest of them, for a little while.
