“So what does it feel to die?” Len asked eagerly, holding Rin’s freshly cut head in his hands. “Is it amusing? Joyful? Beautiful?”
Rin couldn’t speak, but as her twin, Len could clearly see the answer in her eyes.
“None of that”, said her pained gaze. “Only hurts like hell”.
“That’s it?” Len felt disappointed. “Boring!”
He offhandedly threw Rin’s still somewhat conscious head away and returned to his paused videogame. Rin’s last moments were of agony and content. Her twin wanted to learn what death felt like and learn it he did. There was nothing for Rin to regret.
