Stella Stew was commissioned by our mutual friend, MisterEbony, as a gift commission for me.
Stella is the name of my, at the time, newly adopted OC. MisterEbony wanted something to say "thank you" to me, and knowing how I was hoping to win the auction, asked Ed if he'd write out a story with her in it based off the comments I'd made about having some Stella stew as her introductory image.

If you're referring to his Lupina stories, then that's different. The first story, For a Good Cause, was written as a request by MisterEbony. More specifically, he wanted a wolf-lady cooking up a couple of kids. MisterEbony loved it, and told him as much. And because of his gratitude and comments, Edward decided to write some sequels to it, continuing off where the last one ended. The most recent one featuring Lupina was actually written by MisterEbony as, not only a sequel to his last one, but as a gift for him to show his appreciation for doing what he had with her. Edward liked the story so much, that he endorsed it as the official sequel to his, at the time, latest story.

While the Sidneyverse stories are more grounded in reality, with rules and laws and such, his Lupina stories aren't. They allow him to be much more fun and creative with what can happen and how, in ways that might seem out of place in a Sidneyverse story. Like the sweet serum in Lupina’s Sweet Surprise, that wouldn't work in his Sidneyverse because it's too fantasy-like, or how the half-wolf hybrid lady is able to live amongst humans, and how no one seems to question the disappearance of the kids in them.
I hope this is a satisfactory answer to your question, Anon.
