Not sure why you mentioned me as there because I never discussed any realism anywhere.
and in case of your story it actually looks extremely realistic to me :)

Normally I would have just said nothing about this because the tone of this story(too serious) is not the kind I would enjoy but otherwise everything looks fine from the technical perspective for the right audience.
