Stop complaining because everything is fine I don't know if this is issue with AI or it was intentional. AI often makes very unreasonable stories lacking understanding of action consequences.
And if author wants it to be that way they can just say so i am not demanding to rewrite the story, just saying my opinion rather than ignoring it.
