I don't agree with this as an absolute; how much "realism" constitutes "fun" is merely personal preference. If I wrote a story about a banana torturing another banana with hot fudge, you probably wouldn't masturbate to it, on account of it being beyond your personal "plausibility" tolerance. Even IF the bananas were super sexy.

I just prefer this version for meeting my personal plausibility tolerance (whereas drinking molten iron would've been a miss for me, to be clear). Different strokes is all.

I do agree that an extra sentence or two for the actual pourings themselves would not have been unappreciated. Really good story nonetheless! I'm a glutton for anything that moves away from the "asphyx/decap" standard for snuff stories, and this was certainly one I haven't read before.
