Oh I enjoyed the hell out of writing it, if you know what I mean. It's just that what I wrote was in fact genuinely enough for me. Less is more and all that. But I write it so people other than me would also enjoy it, so yeah, I'll keep trying :P

Good point about taking off the ribbon as a finish; with Riley I specifically wanted the 'punishment', just failed to pull it off fully, but it's a good idea to keep in mind for future stories.

Sooooo glad gurochan doesn't really have the "NO UNSOLICITED CRITICISM" culture like the more nicey places I hang out. I'm soliciting criticism by posting the thing, damnit!
