As Len entered the bathroom, he saw Rin laying cozily in the bathtub while using a hair dryer. Again.

“How many times to I have to tell you it’s dangerous,” Len sighed. “Drop it already.”

Rin slowly looked back at her brother. The sly gleam in her eyes told him he should’ve been more careful with his wording.

“Alright,” Rin put on a smug grin, and without breaking eye contact let go of the hair dryer.

Len could only stare in shock as the next moment Rin’s eyes bulged out in the most intense pain she ever felt and her body shook violently and involuntarily. Rin expected to die before she knew it, but instead got to experience literal hell. It lasted for a whole minute, every second of which stretched like an entire eternity of torment. Rin had plenty of time to sincerely regret her stupid joke.

She only wanted to poke some good fun at her twin, not doom herself to suffering. Now her very soul was convulsing and her very existence burning. There was no fun in this at all, only anguish and despair. And such expression on her face was all Rin left her beloved brother with after she herself was gone.

Len couldn’t possibly imagine just how excruciating her experience really was, but he saw full well she regretted every moment of it. And so he laughed, knowing Rin would’ve been delighted at how her joke ended up so much more funny than she intended!
