"Ah, would you step on here?" a stranger asked Rowena on the street.

THe smartly dressed young woman lifted her eyebrows and considered the request. From the lack of context, it was probably some trap that would let him rape and kill her. Then again, she WAS bored tonight.

Cooperatively, she stepped on the tile the man indicated and was immediately vindicated as it collapsed under her into a vertical shaft that ended in a tank full of water - a transparent tank.

"So not rape, just kill," Rowena thought as she saw the glass roof close over her head, sealing her inside with no air.

"Ah well," she thought as she looked around and saw people watching her intently as though she were a performer on the stage, eyeing her clothes in an expectation that surely she'd do them the favor of dying naked?

"Might as well put on a show."
