I'm using pixiv in English and for totally free, so I don't know what you're talking about. You must have gotten something wrong about it. Try looking at the bottom of the page for English language.
Or maybe you're talking about tags being in Japanese? Well, yeah, that's a thing. Many tags have English translation, but it's not always accurate. I'm also seeing some artist just ignore Japanese tags and use English tags instead - they're not a fixed list, so you can just type in whatever you like. How effective is tagging in English versus Japanese, I don't know though, as I'm personally using Japanese tags.
I just look it up in pixiv search in English, and if there is a Japanese tag with such translation, it will show. If not, I try to see if I can rephrase my search in hope of finding a match. I've noticed though the search doesn't seem to work for multiple words (like if you're looking for "intercourse with horse" you should look for either "intercourse" or "horse" and hope the full phrase will be in the list), unless there's a way around it that I haven't found. If still nothing, then I have to resort to translators and dictionaries.

Funny how while I can't draw at all, trying out Koikatsu created the opposite problem for me: writing a proper story takes waaay longer than just slapping down a render or two and considering it a complete work.
