Note I don't actually think lolicon in fiction is "sick" or "horrible" or "disgusting". I have literally written multiple stories with younger kids myself, it's just that they don't fit into this setting for me the blanket consent that's the central part is not something I can imagine a little kid can really give with full understanding, or what an adult can assume a little kid gave with full understanding. So, no little kid action in this series. The amusement park and playground bet settings feature kids, though - in those settings, the initiative belongs to them, and one can assume they understand what THEY are about to do even if they don't have the cognitive capacity to grasp everything that another person possibly could want.

Like… I said they "make less sense to me" but (1) my entire point was how stupid the accusation of "it's illogical" was, (2) that doesn't mean they don't make sense to me at all. They do make sense, I have enough of a psychology hobby to figure out how it works even if I don't share the fetish.

BTW, there are plenty of stories out there where writers go out of their way to paint a setting where it's plausible that people die casually and the world is still populated. It's just that sci-fi settings like that are less appealing to me than a setting that's exactly like real life but people also die for fun. If nothing else, maybe yes, we follow it to the logical conclusion and humanity dies out within a generation. For fun. Why not???

Yeah, when I wrote "on the street" I was specifically picturing /a street/, not just outdoors anywhere. Sure, one girl got jumped while exercising in the depths of a park, but that's more of an exception - she'd been doing that for a while and nothing happened. And in Marie's story I explicitly specify that school grounds are exempt from the rule. The mental picture the title is trying to evoke is specfically a busy street, perhaps a boulevard with no vehicle traffic, where some people are walking naked. It doesn't fully describe the whole setting, but that's not how titles work either :P

That said, I'm also not a native English speaker… and the Russian meaning might have crept into my subconscious premises for picking the title, yes XD

And I always read it as Wiktionary, it made sense in my head without squinting at the spelling. It's Wik-sho-na-ry, four syllables. Five syllables with Wi-ki-sho-na-ry seems excessive.
